I just LOVE fresh flowers...don't you? I try to make it down to my local farmers market every Saturday (it's only a few blocks away) to pick up some. Here's a pic of the happy little sunflowers I bought a few weeks back:
Anyway, my happy little flowers started drooping within the week so I took to my fave blogs to find out why. On
Tori Spelling's site, she mentioned that if you cut the stems at an angle and then add a pinch of sugar to the water, your flowers will last much longer. So I am sooo trying that this weekend when I pick up a fresh new batch of flowers.
