Barre3 Times a Charm Challenge

So in an effort to keep my muddy buddy cravings at bay and keep myself fit (if not lose a few lbs) during the next 1 1/2 months - I am partaking in the Barre3 Times a Charm Challenge. If you've never heard of Barre3, it is a workout that combines ballet, yoga and pilates. I have done the workout before - just prior to our summer trip to Maui - and I LOVED it, so I figured I'd give it a go. The challenge consists of attending 3 Barre3 classes per week until 2012!

Since I am nowhere near a Barre3 Studio, I'll be doing the Barre3 workout DVD at home. I'll also incorporate AT LEAST 3 days worth of cardio weekly - probably 45 minutes to an hour on the elliptical or a 3 1/2 mile run and I will work to maintain my healthy eating habits keep my cravings under control so that I will actually see a difference at the end of December. Since I am going to be posting my measurements for everyone to see rather than post a bikini shot that could blind you all for life - it will probably keep me more accountable and less likely to reach for the 10th double stuff oreo of the day - at least that's the plan.

So, here on Day 1 after my first Barre3 workout of the challenge, are my measurements:

Right arm: 10"
Left arm: 10 1/2"  {Sidenote - isn't it odd that one of my arms is a whole 1/2" larger than the other?}

Bust: 37 1/2" {Sidenote - doesn't "bust" sound like such a weird word for boobs?}

Waist: 32 3/4" (Sidenote - UGH, what happened to my 28" waist?!}

Hips:  37 1/2"

Left Leg: 21 1/2"

Right Leg: 22" {Sidenote - see, weird uneveness again!}
