Children Causing Premature Aging?
I just read an article in Parenting Magazine this week that said all that smiling you do with kids can cause premature aging! So to save our youth we should not smile and laugh with our kids? What’s next?! The article goes on to say that premature aging because of all of this smiling can begin in our 20’s.
Luckily, there are a few things you can do to fight the signs of aging, according to Parents Magazine:
As we age, our skin cells turn over less rapidly, leaving us with that dull skin complexion. To brighten up and fight this sign of premature aging, use an exfoliant like Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant that gives you a smooth skin feel and brighter skin look.
Daily Vitamin C:
Vitamin C, a natural antioxidant, will help fight premature aging. I’ve been using Murad's Essential-C Daily Renewal Complex recently and have noticed a big improvement in dark spots, uneven skin tone and fine lines.
The eyes are one of the first spots to show premature aging. Fend off crow’s feet and other fine lines around the eyes with an eye cream. I suggest Boots Expert Sensitive Hydrating Eye Cream, which works for under ten bucks!
Sunscreen is one of the most important aspects of preventing premature aging. Use daily SPF on your face and body to fight premature aging signs such as sun spots and wrinkles. Incorporate SPF in your daily routine by finding a day moisturizer or makeup that has SPF of at least 15 already in it.
So I will continue on smiling and laughing with my kids today since I know that I can prevent premature aging with a few beauty products.
