So here we are - 2012. How was your New Years Eve celebration? What did you do? A big group of our friends got together at my house and we ended up having such a fun time just hanging out, snacking and sipping on champagne.
Anyway, I wanted to share some 2012 New Years Resolutions with you that are easy to keep and will make you look oh-so-pretty for the new year.

New Years Resolution #1: WASH YOUR FACE EVERY NIGHT!
I know that you have heard this one time and time again...but are you following through? It is vitally important to your skin to get a break from makeup. Take a few moments to lather up a wash cloth with cleanser and get rid of the daily residue and makeup that sits on your skin. Then slather yourself up with a ultra moisturizing hydrator for your skin type. Your skin will thank you by giving you a beautiful glow every time you wake up in the morning.

New Years Resolution #2: GET NEW FACE WASH
And when you start to wash your face more often, be sure to trade in your pricey face wash for a less expensive option. You heard me right - you can toss {ok, well don't toss it - it was expensive and all} that department store brand face wash and snag a good one from the drugstore for less than half the cost. Trust me, it will work just as well as the more expensive brand but you will save a few bucks. Besides, why spend a small fortune on a product you are just going to wash away?!

New Years Resolution #3: GET YOUR GLOW ON WITHOUT THE SUN
Embrace the sunless tanner. How many times do you have to be told that the sun is bad for your skin? Well, I will tell you one more time! Sun damage not only causes you to look older faster it also can cause skin cancer. But who doesn't love a good glow? Get one by using a sunless tanner in lieu of spending hours roasting away under the sun.

New Years Resolution #4: EXERCISE
Take more time to exercise. There are so many benefits to exercise {the number one for me being weight loss, obviously} to not do it. Find what makes you happy whether it is walking, running, biking, swimming or Barre3 {love that workout!} and do it and do it often!

New Years Resolution #5: EXFOLIATE
Exfoliate regularly. Giving your skin a good scrub once or twice a week helps to invigorate it, get rid of dead skin cells, brighten skin and smooth skin. Plus it just feels so good!
Start 2012 with these New Years Resolutions and you'll not only feel better but look better too!
